Owners Versus Collaborators

Authors list

Ownership and collaboration is available throughout ESP+ for a several features, including Collections and Projects.

An owner is a user who maintains primary possession or “ownership” of a project or collection. Only an owner will have the option to "Transfer Owner" when clicking on the "kebab" for Collections and Projects.

A collaborator is a user who is able to manage a project or collection but will not be able to transfer the ownership. Collaborators can use the “Shared with Me” section to locate projects and collections.

The main difference between an owner and a collaborator is that only one user can be designated as the owner, while there can be multiple collaborators.
