Admin users can manage the Sales Tax settings by clicking on the user icon, clicking on "Settings" and going to the Sales Tax section.

In the Sales Tax section, you can enable the slider to have ESP+ to automatically calculate taxes on orders and presentations. If you choose to have ESP+ automatically calculate taxes, you will need to provide an address for each tax nexus that applies to your company. Fill in the address form and click on the "Save" button.

A "nexus" is any address where you conduct business and are required to report taxes in. For example, if you are shipping from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia, the Philadelphia sales tax will be applied to the order.

Important: It is your company's responsibility to include all states in which you conduct business.

You can use the "Add Address" button to provide multiple nexus locations if needed.

If you do not want ESP+ to calculate taxes automatically, you can disable the slider. Click on the "Add Address" button to enter all tax nexus locations. For each state, a tax rate will automatically populate in the Tax Rates section with the current state tax. Click on the "Save" button when you are finished updating information.

If you would like to confirm the sales tax for a location, you can use the  Sales Tax Calculator from TaxJar. While you are able to click on the "Edit" link to alter the rate provided, please note that tax rates can only be set to the state level in this section.

When entering an address, you can also add a zip code extension, which is the four additional digits after the main five digit zip code. To locate the four digit extension, you can use the  Zip Code Lookup from the United States Postal Service.
